Five-year-old asks for donations to food bank

DURHAM -- A local boy who is only 5 years old is pitching in to help the hungry.
For his sixth birthday, Kingston Braswell wants family, friends, and even strangers to help feed people by donating to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.
The food bank is collecting for its "Stop Summer Hunger" campaign which aims to provide 3.2 million meals to area children during the months of June and July.
